Answers to common questions about our work

showvary

How enquiries, quotations, site visits and payment work at showvary, and what to expect when you ask us to plan a studio, a stage or a workflow.

Frequently asked questions

These are the questions we hear most often before a project starts. If yours is not here, the contact page is the quickest way to ask us directly.

What kinds of projects does showvary take on?

We plan and support audiovisual production for broadcast studios and live events. That covers studio design, camera control systems, stage and event lighting, sound engineering and workflow consulting. Projects range from a single lighting plan for an event to a full studio layout with cable routes and equipment lists.

How do I start an enquiry?

Use the contact form on the contact page. Tell us what the space or event is, what you want to achieve and roughly when. We read every enquiry, reply with any questions we have, and agree whether a visit or a call is the sensible next step.

Do you visit the studio or venue before giving a price?

For most work we prefer to see the space, because room size, power and access change the plan. For smaller pieces of advice a call and some photographs can be enough. We tell you which applies when we reply to your enquiry.

How does a quotation work?

After we understand the scope, we send a written quotation that says what is included, what is not and what could change the cost. Nothing starts until you have read it and confirmed in writing. If the scope shifts, we tell you before any extra work is done.

How is payment handled?

Once the work is confirmed we issue an invoice, which you pay by bank transfer. There is no online checkout on this website. Payment terms are written on the quotation and invoice, and our payment and refund policy explains cancellations and refunds.

Do you supply equipment or only plan it?

Our work is planning, configuration and advice. We specify what a studio or event needs and help set it up and test it. Where equipment must be bought or hired, we describe what to look for so you can choose a supplier.

Can you work with the equipment we already have?

Yes, and we usually start there. A good plan uses what you own where it still suits the job, and says plainly where something is holding the workflow back. We list what to keep, what to adjust and what to replace.

What should I prepare before getting in touch?

Any floor plan or photographs of the space help, along with a list of current equipment and a short description of how a typical production runs. If you have none of these, tell us anyway and we will work out what to gather.
